December Fun

December has been so busy, I haven't had time to update so get ready for A LOT of pictures!

Colton is almost 8 months now.  He finally cut his 2 bottom teeth this past week and fought an ear infection at the same time.  He was a trooper though; didn't miss a meal and slept fantastic as usual.  He is army crawling now but is desperate to crawl the right way.  He gets 2 full crawls and then lunges toward what he wants and army crawls the rest.  he is also working on pulling himself up to stand; he can get on his knees easily but has only made it all the way up a handful of times.  He is very chatty and makes lots of different sounds now.  Loving every minute with my little man!

Lily turned 10 on December 16th!  I lost my mind for a moment and let her have a party this year....a slumber party in which 8 out of the 10 invited came.  Looking back it really wasn't that bad but we have already told Lily it was a one time thing.  We did a relay race, a recycled goods fashion show, played some games, kissed a One Direction singer poster, and made ornaments.  Since she was turning double digits, she got some extra special gifts and was ecstatic...literally (drama!).

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were the usual...stuff our faces and open too many presents!  Colton was a trooper on Christmas Eve; he made it through dinner allowing us to all enjoy some nice steaks and wine!  When we got back to my parents, he stayed up for all the action despite being exhausted 2 hours past bed time.  We are all grateful and excited about the gifts we gave and received.  Wish the Stenavich Family could have joined us!

We also got a special Christmas surprise this year....SNOW!
