Happy Easter

A fever, an ear infection, and a sleep deprived 10 year old later....our 3 day weekend has come to an end.  Lily had fun with friends and family this weekend and was so exhausted I found her passed out Saturday afternoon in the chair in her room.  Colton started running a fever Thursday evening. His fever was low grade all day Friday so I held off on taking him in.  Of course, Saturday I end up taking him in to find out he had a very minor ear infection.  After just 24 hours on antibiotics, I have my happy little guy back!

Unfortunately, Josh was working all weekend but he was home and awake to see the kids hunt for eggs and rummage through their baskets.  Lily was super excited to help Colton celebrate his first Easter and find all of the eggs and he was a good helper; he picked up the eggs and put them right into his basket as I directed him to his eggs.  He really liked opening the eggs and even sneaked a bite of a bunny peep that fell out. We hurried off to church in the pouring rain, then off to brunch with my family, and back to my moms for more Easter bunny gifts and egg hunting.  We had just enough time for Colton to grab a good nap before we headed off to the Stars game.  So glad Colton was feeling good today so I could enjoy the day with both my kiddos!
