This school year is going by so fast already. Lily is working her way through some kinks in 5th grade and just generally growing up. She has been busy with her school work and volleyball this fall too! Colton has changed so much over the past 2 months. He still looks like my little baby but he is really starting to act like a toddler. I will do a full update on him in a couple weeks after his next well-check.
The past few weeks have been some what of a whirlwind. With the loss of Lucas we spent several days in Michigan. Even under the worst circumstances, we still love spending time with Haddie and Maggie. Every time we visit, it makes me wish we lived closer.
This weekend, Erin flew out for a quick weekend visit. After Lily's volleyball victory Saturday morning, we drove out to the pumpkin patch. It was such a different experience this year with Colton running around! He wasn't crazy about the animals at first but he warmed up by the end and let a few goats eat out of his hand. Both kids got to pick out a pumpkin so pumpkin carving is in our future!
